IPTV on the Formuler Z Series

The Formuler Z series is not a general-purpose Android box: it was built for IPTV and ships with its own interface, MYTVOnline. That makes some things easier and imposes one limit.
What the built-in interface gives you
MYTVOnline works through a portal login: enter the server address and credentials, and the channel list, the programme guide and the library all open in one interface. There is no separate player to install, and the buttons on the remote were laid out for this interface — channel switching is quick.
Where the limit is
The interface is not your choice. If you want TiviMate's flexibility in ordering channels or managing several playlists, Formuler does not match it. The device is Android-based, so another player can be sideloaded — but at that point you have given up the box's main advantage.

Who is it for?
A good choice for somebody who does not want to fiddle with setup, watches on one subscription and wants a plain remote experience. For a user who manages several playlists or wants to build the interface their own way, an Android box fits better.
