How to Renew an IPTV Membership

When a membership expires there is usually one warning on screen and the channels stop opening. The question that follows is always the same: was the account deleted, are the favourites gone, does everything have to be set up again? The answer to all three is no.
What happens when the term ends
The account is frozen, not deleted. The credentials and the address stay the same and only access to the streams is closed. After renewal the same details keep working — you do not have to change anything in the app.

The renewal flow
- 01Get in touch before the end dateLeaving renewal to the last day is a risk for a household that wants no gap. A message a day or two ahead removes the interruption entirely.
- 02Say whether the package stays the sameIf the package is changing — one screen to two, say — mentioning it during renewal is the easiest route; it is handled in the same transaction.
- 03Close and reopen the appAfter the renewal is processed the app may still be holding the old state in memory. Closing it fully makes it query the account again.
- 04Open a channel to confirmAny channel opening means the renewal went through. If nothing opens, clear the app's cache and try once more.
Why longer terms cost less
Monthly renewal means a transaction, a risk of a gap and a reminder every month. A three- or six-month membership lowers the monthly cost and removes that repetition. Using the first month on a monthly term to see the service before committing is a reasonable way to decide.
If a long time passes after expiry the account is eventually closed for good and a fresh setup with new details is needed. If weeks have gone by, ask for new setup details rather than a renewal.
