News is one of the most used categories on IPTV, and not only because of Turkish broadcasts: being able to watch the same event on channels from different countries gives a different picture than a single source does.

Watching one story from three sources
On a big story, flicking through three countries' channels takes a couple of minutes and the difference it shows is clear: which detail is foregrounded, which source is relied on and who is given airtime varies from channel to channel. These channels sit in different groups in the list; collecting them in one favourites list makes the comparison practical.

Why stream delay matters here
Every IPTV stream carries a few seconds of delay, and it varies by channel. On news this usually does not matter; but following along on social media and seeing the same moment on screen seconds later can be jarring. The way to cut the delay is to lower the player's buffer setting.
On election nights and during major events, concurrent viewers on news channels peak. If channel switching slows at those hours, the cause may be that channel's load rather than your connection — adding a second channel covering the same story to favourites is the practical answer.
